Morning Work:

Social Studies:

 For social studies today, Mr. Pontious' class introduced the Native Americans of the Pacific Northwest. We watched a short video, read an article, and completed notes. We will have a check tomorrow over all of the Indian tribes we have covered thus far.

Language:
In Language today, Mrs. Graff's class put our detective hats on and searched for context clues to help us decipher the meaning of words. 

Reading:
In reading today, both classes listened to a read-aloud of The Important Book by Margaret Wise Brown. We then completed our own "important page" about the 5th grade before each student got to create one on a topic of their choice!
