Social Studies:
Today, in Mrs. Graff's class, we continued to work with Native Americans by learning about the Mound Builder Indians. We watched some video clips, read an article, and answered response questions about these Indians that lived along the Mississippi and Ohio River Valleys.
Language:
Today, Mr. Pontious' class continued their work with homonyms, homophones, and homographs. We revisited the video from yesterday and took notes on homophones.
Reading:
For reading both classes continued to learn about how authors use figurative language and theme in poetry. We looked at two poems today: The Good Boy and Saying Goodbye. We also continued working in our poetry packets.
