Morning Work:

Language:
Today in Language we began our unit on homonyms, homophones, and homographs. We watched a Flocabulary video describing the three types of commonly confused words, then took notes on Homonyms.
Reading:
Today in reading we continued our work with poetry and figurative language. We began with some notes on poetry.
Next, we looked at two different poems and used the figurative language in them to discover the poem's theme.
