Morning Work:

Language:
In reading today, Mrs. Graff's class continued working with Verb Tenses. We continued with Perfect Verb Tense as well as adding Progressive Verb Tense and Simple Verb Tense.

Social Studies:

Mr. Pontiou's class introduced the Indians of the Southwest today. We watched a short video, read an article, and took notes on the Pueblo Indians

Reading:
For reading today, both classes began our journey through 6 Trait Writing. We went over the 6 traits and the +1 of presentation, then really took focus on Ideas and Sentence Fluency. Afterwards we practice writing towards a prompt to help up prepare for our upcoming Narrative Writing Assessment. 

We also introduced our new vocabulary words for this week. (Unit 2 week 1)
