Today we completed a follow up check on similes and metaphors. I had the students compare and contrast similes and metaphors on a Venn Diagram

Next the students learned about idioms:

WE watched a Flocabulary video about the Idioms and paused to discuss the literal and figurative meanings.

Finally the students used the article and their knowledge learned to answer true and false questions.
