Today's reading assignment was to make inferences about the characters in a magazine story. We worked together as a class to infer about Nick from Frindle. Then they worked on their own to infer about the characters in the new story.
Vocabulary assignment for today:
Vocab Cards. On the back of each card write the definition and use the word in a sentence.
Language:
Mrs. Graff's class worked on using commas to write sentences with introductory words as well as nouns in direct address.
Mr. Pontious' class worked on combining multiple sentences into one by the use of commas.
Social Studies:
Daily Geography
There was no new social studies lesson today. On Mondays we do language in both classes.
