Reading:
Today our reading target was: I can identify figurative speech in poems and explain how and why the author uses them to show imagery.
We were focusing on how authors use similes, metaphors and personification to get a reader enough description to create imagery.

Today we began our trek through North America as we explore Native Americans.
Our first Native tribe will be the Inuit
We began with a Inuit Video
We read this article:
Then we took notes on the Inuits, by comparing the information from the video to the article.
Finally the students used the article and their knowledge learned to answer true and false questions.
