MORNING WORK:
Daily Warm up 2
SOCIAL STUDIES:
Today the students research and planning their diorama for their specific tribe. The students have started a Google Document that will allow them to gather information that would like to use as inspiration for their diorama. I also encouraged them to search for other dioramas of their tribes for inspiration. Although, their diorama must follow the rubric that I gave.
Tomorrow you will receive a hard copy of both the parent letter and the rubric.
READING:
Today each class did have WIN time. They completed yesterdays assignment and today's word work assignments.
Today in reading we used part of our time to continue research. Then we focused the rest of the time on Point of View. Today we worked on identifying the point of view of a paragraph and then we changed the paragraph to be written in a different point of view.
Also, I continued to meet with students one on one to set our goals for MAP testing next week!
We ended the day with ART!
