Our Viking Discussion this week!

Monday:

Tuesday: Worked on Types of Viking Ships. Students were placed into small Groups to categorize and define Viking ships.

Wednesday: Finished Small group work, then took notes on ships.

Thursday: Recap: So far what have we learned? Students completed a map by labeling the Norwegian Viking's travel across the North Atlantic. (Back sided of the page below.)

Friday: Today we read took notes on the last three categories of information for the Vikings. We will finish up on Monday! Test will be Tuesday!

Writing/Language Arts:
  This week we have complete pre-writing on an organizer for the students informational paper about the native tribe in which they completed their diorama. The students are being instructed in the outline of a 5 paragraph writing, so that they may use this a practice for their WAX MUSEUM essay.

**Wax Museum Choices need to be completed and turned into Mrs. Graff Monday, January 30!!
Remember that you must write more than the person's name. You must have their contribution to American History, AND a reason WHY you want to be this person. It is a must if you want to be considered for your historical character when up again others, who want the same person!
