MORNING WORK:

SOCIAL STUDIES:


Project materials were due today! But do not panic if your student did not have the materials they needed today. Students can continue to bring in materials as the week continues.


Today we had a hiccup in our schedule. We had our a 4-H lesson, which was pre-planned and I had forgotten about. Therefore, this put us a day behind for our Friday deadline.  I will be mindful of the progress the students are making and if I need to extend their due date; I will.

My hopes are that the majority of students have their project done before the weekend, because it is a three day weekend.

Many students were able to get a great start on their project already!

READING

With the lack of Social Studies time, due to 4- H lesson, we used half of our reading class for our projects.

The other half we focused on word work today.

 We discussed Compound words and how the two meanings of the two parts form a whole new meaning.

LANGUAGE ARTS

DAILY LANGUAGE STARTERS are back! Today we completed Monday for our first Daily Language for the 3rd Nine Weeks!

Then used the remaining time on some project work!
