Today we reviewed for our Chapter 1 test. The students worked on numbers 1- 11 today. The students were to complete as many of the 11 problems as they could, alone. Then, the students made adjustments to their answers as we went over the problems together. If students are able to complete this chapter review with 100% accuracy, alone. They will receive 100% for their assessment and not have to take the assessment with the rest of the class on Wednesday.
Today began our new unit about the Moon. Students viewed the new video, discussed as a class, and read over notes about the video. They began the lesson with a KWL chart to grasp all their knowledge about the moon and to see what they wanted to learn next about the moon!
