Morning Work:

We tried a new method of grading and correcting the assessments for math boxes. Many students were not making corrections, so we graded them all together. Then, we handed them back to the students to make corrections, today! Hopefully students can be more successful getting corrections finished and getting them turned back to my basket!

Math:

Chapter 1 Tests were handed back today. We went over them together and the students completed a self assessment. The idea behind the Self Assessments is for the students to explain their errors and make corrections. This is how the students will make their corrections and obtain their partial credit for their corrections.

Science:

Today the students reviewed for our Moon test today! The students will take their science test on the moon and its phases on Monday.
