We completed our Daily Geography questions as Morning Work today. Since today was an early dismissal day we did not have a new social studies or language lesson. We will pick back up with our Native Americans of the Eastern Woodlands tomorrow!
Reading:
We continued to look at our Text Features today by taking a closer look at Headings. We talked about what makes for a great heading and how to use the important details from the text to develop headings.
First we completed this activity together as a class.
Then they completed the follow worksheet on their own.
If they had time they were to get a Nonfiction book of their choosing and complete the Text Feature Hunt.
