SOCIAL STUDIES:

Then the students used the following Articles and their notes to work in small groups to compare and contrast Aztec and Mayans.







READING:

Today we furthered our discussion about the theme of "The Walrus and the Carpenter" We discussed the large amount of figurative language in the poem and how we could not even begin to take it literal. We watched a video to get further understanding of the themes: curiosity and trustworthiness.

Students then finished with writing responses to the poem and the video.
